New Delhi: Close on the heels of offering discounted economy fares, public sector carrier Indian on Tuesday announced the launch of a new ‘Desh Videsh 2006’ scheme with immediate effect, offering reward tickets to passengers completing travel between now and May 5.
For a total travel value worth Rs 75,000 in economy class till May 5, a passenger would get one return ticket on any of the international or domestic sectors the carrier operating, an airline spokesperson said. Similarly, for travel worth Rs one lakh in the executive class, a passenger gets one return ticket on international or domestic sector.
On travel worth Rs 1,25,000 in economy class, two return tickets would be awarded for the same class, while a passenger can earn two return tickets on domestic or international sectors if he or she travels in the executive class for a total value of Rs 1,60,000, she said. In all these cases, the passenger would have to pay the passenger service fee. In order to claim the award tickets, the passenger would have to submit original ticket jacket and boarding cards before June 30.
