London: Vijay Mallya, MP and owner of the United Breweries, the world's third-biggest spirits group and parent of the Kingfisher brand, plans to fly Kingfisher Airlines to London and make a secondary listing of it in London next year to raise about 112 million pounds for growth. Kingfisher, which is best known for its beer brand, launched the airline in India last May and surprised many by the scale of its ambition when Mallya ordered $1.9 bn dollar of new aircraft within a few months.
"There is a huge amount of scope to fly between the UK and India, whether it be Mumbai to Heathrow or Delhi to Manchester," Mallya told 'The Times,' newspaper.
