New Delhi: Air Deccan today announced the launch of SMS-enabled ticket booking service. The service works on a very simple mechanism with a passenger registering for the service through the Air Deccan website after which one has to send an SMS to a short code 676723.
Following this, the screen on the mobile phone will display the availability of seats and fares for a specific destination of choice. The passenger accordingly has the luxury of booking tickets based on travel requirements. The service also enables a passenger to reschedule and cancel the tickets at convenience.
