Bangalore: British Airways on Tuesday announced an additional flight out of Bangalore from May 4, 2006.The new flight (BA 118) will take off from Bangalore international airport at 5.45 hours (IST) on Thursday and arrive at London Heathrow Airport at 11.50 hours (UK time).
With the introduction of the additional flight, the number of flights from the city had increased from five to six per week, a BA release said in Bangalore on Tuesday.British Airways has also rationalised its flight frequencies to and from Chennai. Beginning May 4, the airlines will operate five times per week from Chennai to London Heathrow.
