Mangalore: A team of Air India officials visited Mangalore on Thursday to discuss with the authorities concerned issues related to the launch of a flight service between Thiruvananthapuram and Dubai via Mangalore.
The Air India Express, a subsidiary of Air India, plans to introduce a passenger service between Thiruvananthapuram and Dubai via Mangalore from May, if customs and immigration facilities are ready at the Bajpe airport by that time. This is the third team of Air India officials to visit Mangalore in view of launching the flight service to Dubai via Mangalore.
