Private sector low cost airline SpiceJet has entered into a strategic tie-up with Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd to sell air-tickets through the latter's petrol stations.
"This facility is first being launched in Delhi at 25 HPCL petrol stations and it will be replicated across the country steadily," a joint press release said in New Delhi.
Presently SpiceJet tickets can be purchased through the Internet, 24/7 call centre, travel agents and SpiceJet airport ticketing counters.
Through this tie-up with HPCL, SpiceJet aims to gain synergies in attracting customers.
