Patna: Authorities at the Jayaprakash Narayan Airport here are considering mowing the tall grass growing on either side of the runway. On Saturday, a major fire broke out in this over grown grass due to which the runway had to be closed for over an hour. A Sahara Flight S-2115, which was on its way to Patna from Delhi, was asked to turn back to Delhi due to this fire. Although airport director Atual Dikshit was not available for his comments on Sunday, sources said the grass had become a source of problem.
