Mumbai:Just two months after selling Air Sahara to Jet Airways, the Sahara India Pariwar announced on Thursday that it is entering the travel business with the launch of what it says will be the country’s largest travel & tourism company, Sahara Global.
The company will cater to the travel needs of individuals, corporates and small businesses and will also eventually manage hotel properties. Its seven business verticals include travel (outbound, inbound and domestic), conferences, exhibitions, medical tourism and a travel portal for e-commerce and online inventory distribution.
