Chennai: To keep pace with this development in terms of improving passenger amenities, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has entrusted the task of `meeting and greeting' air passengers to a Mumbai-based agency Akbar Travels of India. The `Swagat Seva' service was launched in Chennai recently.
Commuters arriving at Kamaraj Domestic Terminal and Anna International Terminal will be offered the `meet and greet' services. Out-bound passengers taking domestic flights will be helped to check in. Passengers taking international flights will be helped to complete the immigration formalities and escorted till the security hold area.
