Jaipur: Air Arabia, a low-cost airlines from Sharjah, would connect Jaipur directly to the Gulf emirate from May 12 with daily flights.
'This over-three-hour flight service is expected to provide a vital link for Rajasthanis in the Gulf to go home besides connecting UAE with one of the most popular leisure destinations in India,' said Rohit Ramachandran, country manager Air Arabia, India, here Friday.
Presently, Indian Airlines is the only flight that connects Jaipur to Dubai. However, the flight goes via Delhi.
Besides Jaipur, Air Arabia would also link Kochi to Sharjah from May 1.
Air Arabia would fly Airbus A320 aircraft having 162 seats between Jaipur-Sharjah.
