New Delhi: US-based Alaska Airlines is in talks with Indian carriers for partnership in providing seamless travel benefits to passengers in both countries.
Alaska Airlines Business Development Director Ian Quatermaine said the talks were at a very preliminary stage. Alaska, which flies to 98 US cities mostly on the West Coast with a 110-aircraft fleet, has also appointed a General Sales Agent in India, the ETA Travel.
Explaining that a passenger flying into a major US city could be connected onward to his destination by his airline, Quartermaine said his company also had e-ticket agreements with several major global carriers including Air India.
