New Delhi: Clearance procedures for acquisition of 50 New Long Range Aircraft by Air India at a cost of Rs.33,197.47 cr and 18 B737-800 W Aircraft by Air India Charters Ltd. at a cost of Rs.4951.60 cr have been put on a 'fast track' by Ministry of Finance during 2005-06.
The proposals for construction of new International terminals at Ahmedabad and Trivandrum airports at a cost of Rs.195.92 cr. and Rs.245.58 cr. respectively are also recommended.
