Dubai: Daijiworld.com has reliably learnt that the much-awaited flight Air India Express has delayed its direct flight due to operational reasons, until further notice.
At the same time, in an interesting development, APA Air System FZC, a UAE-based company has announced its first-ever tourism flight to Mangalore from May 26, 2006 subject to final clearance from Customs authority in Mangalore
Pervez Ansari, general manager APR Air, while speaking exclusively to Daijiworld.com's Rajesh Sequeira, who is also Karnataka NRI Forum co-ordinator, said that APA has initially planned its tourism operations to Bangalore, but since Bangalore was getting congested with every passing day and hearing the good news of International status to Mangalore airport, "we have decided to switch the service to Mangalore, a cool and wonderful place for tourism."
