New Delhi: A foreign traveller on an Indian Airlines evening flight to Ahmedabad reportedly told a co-passenger after boarding the aircraft that she had "a bomb on her mind or body."
The passenger passed the word to the air hostess and she, in turn, informed the pilot, who refused to fly with a suspected human bomb.
"IC 861 to Ahmedabad was supposed to take off at 6.50 pm. But after this development, all the 130 passengers on board were offloaded. The lady was taken in for questioning and Indian arranged for another aircraft to take passengers to their destination," said airport sources.
While the Indian arranged for another aircraft, bad weather prevented any flight movement for about an hour.
