Montreal: CAE Inc. has won $48-million worth of contracts to supply three full-flight simulators, training devices and pilot services for Cathay Pacific, ATR, and Ryanair.
Montreal-based CAE said Friday it will supply for Cathay Pacific a Boeing 777-300ER flight simulator, other flight-training devices and an update to an existing simulator.
For regional aircraft manufacturer ATR of Toulouse, France, CAE will provide an ATR72-500 flight simulator as well as two CAE Tropos visual systems and an upgrade to the visual system of an existing simulator.
Purchased by ATR for use by Indian low-cost carrier Air Deccan, the simulator is scheduled for a spring 2008 delivery to the new training centre that Air Deccan will construct in Bangalore, India.
Ryanair has exercised an option for a CAE-built Boeing 737-800 full-flight simulator.
