Chennai: Indian has introduced a 'Companion fare' scheme during the summer vacation for travel to Singapore. The 'Companion fare' offers one free ticket to accompanying passenger on purchase of one Chennai-Singapore-Chennai ticket.
Under the scheme, customers purchasing one economy class ticket (Rs 20,900) or executive class ticket (Rs 28,600 plus taxes), the accompanying passenger gets a free ticket wherein he has to pay only the taxes of approximately Rs 3,361.
Both the passengers need to travel together on the same flight, date and class on outbound and inbound journeys. The offer is valid for purchase and commencement of journey till 31 July, 2006.The minimum stay at the destination has to be 3 nights and maximum stay of 7 nights.
