Thiruvananthapuram: Deccan Aviation, India's first helicopter charter company, will launch its chopper operations from here Friday.
K.J. Samuel, director of Deccan Aviation, said the hire service would be based in the Thiruvananthapuram airport.
'This helicopter could carry six passengers besides the pilot. The flying charge has been fixed at Rs.70,000 per hour,' said Samuel.
'We see a lot of potential for our helicopter service in Kerala's tourism market,' he said.
