Thiruvananthapuram: Touristy Goa is to become the 50th global destination of SriLankan Airlines - and its 10th in India - with flights being planned from October.
In a company press release issued Thursday, Peter Hill, CEO of SriLankan Airlines, said they aware of the growing importance and opportunities of the travel market both into and out of India.
'We are very excited about commencing services to Goa, which we see as having excellent commercial prospects,' said Hill.
The twice-weekly flights, which would be of two hours' duration, are scheduled for Mondays and Saturdays.
