Jet Airways' frequent flyer programme (FFP) Jet Privilege was honoured at the 18th Freddie Awards ceremony held on April 27, 2006 at the Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles International Airport, USA. The Airline won this highly coveted award in the Best Customer Service and Best Bonus Promotion categories for the region Japan, Pacific, Asia and Australia.
Jet Privilege also bagged the second position in Program of the Year, Frequent Flyer Program and Best Award, Frequent Flyer Program, for Japan, Pacific, Asia, Australia region. It earned third place in Best Member Communications, Best Affinity Credit Card, and Best Award Redemption in the region.
The winners of the awards led the categories with a balanced combination of quality and quantity, through the value vote system and a majority vote.
Jet Privilege scored an average of over 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10, and close to 49.5% of the popular votes in the Best Customer Service category. Jet Airways was recognized for its generosity and innovativeness in Best Bonus Promotion category, with two of its promotions occupying the top spots, making it a clear winner in this category.
