Vancouver: A week after the Federal Government authorized an inquiry into the 1985 Air India bombings, the man overseeing the investigation is setting up his team.
Former Supreme Court Judge John Major spent the last few months meeting with the families of the victims. His report recommending the inquiry was officially approved by Prime Minister Stephen Harper on May first.
Sheila Marie Cook, who last worked on the Gomery Commission involving the Liberal sponsorship scandal, has been named the Executive Director.
She's also a former Legislative Assistant to Pierre Elliot Trudeau.
