Petaling Jaya: Malaysia Airlines has launched another discount for travel to selected destinations in Asean, China and the Indian subcontinent.
Called the International Supersaver Fares, which is valid for the next five days, prices are as low as RM199 to Medan, Indonesia or RM1,279 to Hyderabad, India.
MAS commercial director Datuk Abdul Rashid Khan said the airline was offering the discounted fare through its website www.malaysiaairlines.com till May 10.
These special offers for economy class travel were only valid for outbound travel from Kuala Lumpur, he said, adding that it covered journeys to five destinations in China, six in the Indian subcontinent and to 13 other Asean destinations.
For the Indian subcontinent, the discounts are from May 10 to Aug 15 while for China destinations it will be valid from June 12 to Aug 15. The fares do not include surcharges and taxes.
