Mumbai: It’s raining low-fare seats this monsoon. Over 220,000 seats — 25 per cent more than what is available in the busy season — will be on offer at special fares for the next two months. The tickets will be priced in the range of Re 1 to Rs 1,774.
Air Deccan, which operates 250 flights a day, takes the lion’s share of 150,000 low-fare seats for the next two months. Air Deccan has just started booking for these special fare tickets under its Monsoon Hungama offer.
SpiceJet has also opened its Red Hot Special Monsoon fares in the Rs 99-499 range for 23,000 promotional seats. These will be available on 49 flights covering 12 cities.
GoAir is offering 50,000 tickets at fares starting from Rs 525 for flights between July and September.
