Panaji: In a new twist to the proposed Mopa international airport project issue, two Congress MPs, Mr Churchill Alemao (South Goa) and Mr Shantaram Naik, (Rajya Sabha) have sought the land title of the Dabolim airport from Indian Navy.
The two MPs raised this matter at the Mopa airport committee meeting.
The committee today gave a nod to the Dabolim airport expansion programme.
However, the Congress MPs, who are members of the committee said that they demanded that the land title of the Dabolim airport from the Indian Navy be obtained.
