Dubai: Satyam Computer Services Limited has been recognised by the Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai (DCA) for its outstanding services during 2005.The award was presented to Satyam during the DCA's eight Annual Supplier Forum held recently in Dubai.
Satyam was awarded the project to reengineer the Airport Billing System (ABS), replacing the existing FoxPro based applications with a web-based billing system and automated integration with Oracle Financials.
The project was successfully completed within six months. "Satyam is the first Indian information technology (IT) organisation to receive this award, and we are very proud to be honoured by DCA," said Virender Aggarwal, senior vice president and director, Satyam Computers Services Limited, Asia Pacific, Middle East, India and Africa.
