New Delhi: An Air India flight carrying 161 passengers developed engine trouble but landed safely today at Indira Gandhi International Airport here under full emergency conditions.
"One of the engines of flight AI 891, which was coming from Jeddah via Lucknow, shut down after take-off from Lucknow. However, it landed safely in Delhi at 0954 hrs," airport sources said.
The flight, with 161 passengers plus crew, however, managed to land safely.
