Mangalore: The Airports Authority of India will set up touch-screen information kiosks at the Bajpe (Mangalore) airport with intranet facility, according to M R Vasudev, director, Airports Authority of India, Bajpe airport.
In an informal chat with presspersons at the airport on Wednesday, Jul 26, he said that the Airports Authority of India had provided intranet facility at the Bajpe airport for administrative purposes.
With this facility, the Bajpe airport would be directly connected with the Airports Authority of India headquarters in Delhi. Besides, the Bajpe airport would be connected with other airports in the country that had been provided with intranet facility.
This would ensure speedy communication with airports at Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore and Kochi, he said.
