New Delhi: British Airways has come up with a new scheme of low fares for Indian students studying abroad with an added bonanza of free additional baggage allowance of 23 kg.
The airways, in alliance with Air Sahara, will also enable students unable to obtain a confirmed ticket from Kolkata, Bangalore or Chennai get connecting flights to Delhi and Mumbai without paying any additional charge.
The scheme enables a student to avail a return ticket for Rs.20,000 and a one-way fare of Rs.11,000 with an extra baggage of 23 kg free. This facility can also be availed by the students' family members, who will get a discount of 10 percent on the normal fare.
The scheme is valid from July 1-Sep 30, which is the peak time for students travel.
