Panaji: Mr Sachin Pilot, the Lok Sabha member from Rajasthan and a member of the parliamentary committee on civil aviation affairs said that the government of India would find a favourable solution to the ongoing Mopa-Dabolim airport issue.
“A positive solution will come out in the near future, despite the fact that the land allocation part lies with the state government,” Mr Pilot told reporters here tonight.
He emphasised that every stakeholder’s viewpoint in the matter would be seriously considered by the Centre before arriving at a decision.Mr Pilot categorically stated that actually the diverse views on having a new modern airport at Mopa had never come up at any of the meetings of the committee.
