Panaji: Ministry of defence will shortly hand over nine acres of land to the airport authority of india (AAI) for Dabolim airport expansion, officials stated.
Goa's Dabolim airport is managed by Indian Navy and AAI have resolved to expand the airport to accommodate its increasing requirement.
ore bays would be constructed in the expansion phase, he stated.
AAI will also take environment clearance before starting the expansion work, Agarwal stated.
