Farnborough: India-based IT and product engineering specialist HCL Technologies today announced its plans to highlight its integrated approach to the aerospace industry, debuting at this year's Farnborough air show.
Following a period of consolidation, HCL has developed and been delivering a set of core avionics skills that enable the off-shoring of complete subsystems. This proven core skill set includes software engineering, hardware engineering, FPGA design and verification, and mechanical design and analysis.
Customers benefiting from the expertise include Boeing, with whom HCL works on the prestigious 787 Dreamliner project along with Boeing's tier 1 suppliers, BAe and Volvo Aero.
HCL will share details of its innovative partnership systems which combine a multi-service integrated engagement model with the use of output-based pricing schemes to share the commercial risk of aircraft manufacture and development between HCL and its customers.
