IndiGo offers mobile booking

IndiGo, the new low-fare airline promoted by InterGlobe Enterprises, launching in early August, has joined forces with eSpherical.com, Inc. to provide mobile airline booking and payment for its customers with GPRS-capable mobile phones or mobile PDA’s. Through this pioneering initiative IndiGo will ensure a unique, smooth and seamless customer experience that is backed by cutting edge technology.
Speaking on this initiative, Bruce Ashby, President & CEO, IndiGo said, “IndiGo is the first airline in India to offer this simple and efficient way to book for our customers who are on the go. IndiGo is all about designing a travel experience that is simple and straightforward. Mobile booking is just one of the many things that we are doing to achieve that goal, and we are sure that our customers will appreciate it.”
The mobile booking service is available at http://mobile.goindigo.in. This service not only allows customers to book and pay for flights, but also enables them to check for flight information.
