Mangalore: The Bajpe Airport here received ISO 9001:2000 certificate for quality management system.
Speaking to Daijiworld M R Vasudeva, director, Bajpe Airports said that the airport had been certified for quality management from 2003 to 2006. However, this has been now extended for another 3 years up to 2009.
Intal Quality Certification Private Limited, Bangalore had re-assessed the quality management system of the Airports Authority of India at the Bajpe Airport in June, Vasudev added.
The certificate of compliance for meting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 standards has been issued to the airport for a period of three years.
