New Delhi: Its failed marriage with Air Sahara seems to have finally taken a toll on Jet Airways' plans to spread wings in the London skies.
With Sahara terminating its wide-body aircraft lease with Jet, Naresh Goyal's airline has been forced to trim by half its plans to mount a new service connecting Punjab with UK.
Jet had initially planned to start a six weekly flights on Amritsar-London route, beginning June 28, using Sahara's Boeing 767 aircraft.
With Air Sahara recalling its plane after their deal fell through, Jet has now delayed the launch to August 4 and the service has been curtailed to just three flights a week.
