New Delhi: Virgin Atlantic (VA) and McCann’s relationship, it seems, has come to an end. The Richard Branson promoted airline company has invited both creative and media agencies for a pitch. Neha Lidder, marketing manager, Virgin Atlantic (India), has confirmed this development to agencyfaqs!. However, she declined to reveal the names of the agencies that have participated in the pitch.
It is learnt that McCann-Erickson was also invited for the pitch, but it decided to stay away from the process. The media duties of the VA business were handled by Universal McCann, the media arm of McCann-Erickson.
Virgin Atlantic currently flies daily flights between Delhi and Mumbai to London.
