Mumbai: An Air India staffer has lodged a complaint with police against Bollywood actor Amisha Patel after she allegedly verbally abused a staffer on the issue of upgrading her friend's ticket, police said today.
Amisha and her friend had booked tickets on an Air India flight for the US for yesterday when she allegedly lost her cool after the check-in staff agreed to upgrade her ticket from business class to first class but refused to do the same for her friend, travelling with her.
An enraged Amisha is alleged to have verbally abused the check-in staffer and threatened to hit her, they said.
Later the actor and her friend proceeded for the US by the same flight, sources said.
