Mangalore: The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has given the nod to handle cargo at the Mangalore airport if private parties come forward to do so, Vasudeva, Director, Mangalore airport said on Thursday.
The airport would provide land on rental basis for the private parties, he told reporters.
An hangar of 1850 sq metres is ready for the Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited (KIOCL), he added.
