New Delhi: Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Wednesday launched a unique guest relation programme - Etihad Guest - in its bid to woo passengers.
The initiative covers its global network of 35 passenger destinations simultaneously.
The key features of the programme are - flexible travel, with anytime, any flight availability; choice of payment, immediate redemption potential, range of rewards with a network of non-flight partners to choose from and earning miles on reward flights through cash contributions.
"With our hospitality-orientated approach, Etihad Airways is certain to raise a few eyebrows amongst its peers, many of whose frequent flyer-related schemes remained relatively unchallenged by the industry until now," said acting CEO Geert W. Boven.
Etihad Airways currently flies ten times a week from India - seven flights from Mumbai and three from Delhi to Abu Dhabi.
