The Navy and AAI are co-located at various Naval/Civil Air stations. There are cases where land has been transferred from the Navy to AAI or vice-versa at these stations. For regularization & fixing of lease rent etc. these issues were being processed on a case-to-case basis.
14.995 acres of Navy land was released to AAI at Goa free of cost by Ministry of Defence by an order dated 22.6.1966. Besides AAI is also occupying an additional 10.701 acres of Naval land at Goa. AAI further requires 8.77 acres of additional Navy land.
2.32 acres of AAI land is to be exchanged with the same quantum of Naval land at Port Blair in view of the operational conveniences of both organizations.
At Mumbai, 5.41 acres of AAI land is with Navy.

At Porbandar, 2.26 acres of AAI land was transferred to Navy in February 2004 since the same was urgently required for operational purposes. AAI will transfer an additional 2.42 acres of land at Porbandar to the Navy.
