Almost £20,000 worth of heroin has been found at Coventry airport - hidden inside a photo album sent from India.
The drugs were being smuggled by post from the Asian country to the UK.
The photo album and its contents were discovered by customs officers at the UK's largest parcel freight centre which is in the city.
The photo album had been sent from India to an address in London. But when officers tore it open, they uncovered two smaller packages within the album, which contained almost half a kilo of the class A drug. The haul is believed to be worth £18,200 at street prices.
Neil Goodban, anti-smuggling manager for HM Revenue and Customs said: "We will not be deterred in our fight to win the war against the drugs trade, which ruins the lives of many people and has a devastating effect on all our communities."
