A man has appeared in court after he was allegedly found with a gun at Glasgow Airport.
Vishal Rao, 27, from Hyderabad in India, was arrested on Sunday and charged with being in unlawful possession of a firearm - an air pistol.
Paisley Sheriff Court heard Rao had been charged under the Aviation Security Act 1982.
He made no plea or declaration during his brief appearance on petition.
Rao was represented by defence agent Denis Coffield and the case against him was continued for further examination by Sheriff Thomas Millar.
