Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Public Works Minister P.J. Joseph was questioned by a senior police official here Wednesday following allegations that he had misbehaved with a woman during his air travel this month.
Joseph was on board the Kingfisher flight from Chennai to Kochi Aug 3 and is alleged to have misbehaved with a 53-year-old woman.
Joseph was under pressure to quit the state cabinet after media reported on the alleged incident.
On Aug 23, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan asked Inspector General of Police B. Sandhya to inquire into the matter and submit a report in 10 days. She arrived here from Chennai after collecting details of the incident from the alleged victim and her husband.
