Kolkata: A man loitering suspiciously in front of the domestic terminal of the NSC Bose International Airport was arrested on Tuesday, police said.
Rs six lakh was found in a bag being carried by the man, who gave his name as Pradip Sarkar. The police, however, suspected that it could be a fake name and were interrogating him.
The airport has been put on high alert ever since a plot to blow up airliners in London was foiled as also the Independence Day.
The Central Industrial Security Force is supervising the security arrangements.
