Chennai: The Consul General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai, Joelle Rayet, has conveyed his appreciation to the Airport Manager on Duty, K. Sundharan, and the staff of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) at the Anna International Terminal with regard to the roughing up incident involving a French journalist.
"I write to register my total satisfaction for the way the incident involving the French journalist was handled on the night of August 29 by you and your staff", the Consul General said, in a letter sent to the AAI.
