Chennai: Air Mauritius India has introduced two brand new Airbus 340-300E to replace the Boeing aircrafts in its fleet.
The new aircraft would be used for operating daily flights between Mumbai and Mauritius, two weekly flights from Delhi and one weekly flight from Chennai.
Talking to reporters here on Wednesday evening, Air Mauritius General Manager Raj Bhujohory and Mr Rajesh Bushgeet, Manager, Chennai and South India, said the flight would have 12 first class cocoon type seats, 33 business class seats and 264 economy class seats on each aircraft.
Stating that only 30,000 Indians were flying to Mauritius annually, Mr Bhujohory said injecting new flights would lead to increase in the flow of Indians.
