New Delhi: Travel Agenits Association of India (TAAI) president CV Prasad said it is not backing any move by agents to buy 30% stake in Air Sahara.
"If some agents want to come together and buy a stake in the airline, it's got nothing to do with TAAI. The agents can pursue it independently... This talk did come up in Hyderabad, but TAAI has decided not to get involved. We are
not in the business of running airlines,"he said.
TAAI sources, however, pointed out that the house seems to be divided on the matter as some agents are seeking the organisation's backing on the plan.
