Doha: Indian Airlines is actively studying the possibilities of operating direct flights between Doha and India's financial capital, Mumbai and destinations in north India, to serve the large expatriate Indian community here, Shailesh K Sharma the airline's new manager for Qatar, disclosed yesterday.
The bilateral Air Services Agreement (ASA) between Qatar and India, he said, would permit such flights since India follows an 'Open Skies' policy with Qatar.
