Mangalore: The dream of watching an international plane land at Bajpe airport in Mangalore has come true with Air India Express deciding to have three flight between Mangalore and Gulf (Dubai) in a week from Oct 3.
Though the official site of Air India put that the international flight will start from Oct 2, sources said that the State Union Minister for Civil Aviation Praful Patel may not be able to attend the landing thus scheduling the inauguration the next day.
