In two separate incidents, an Israeli woman and an Indian man were detained at Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport, after security agencies detected live ammunition in their baggage.
The Israeli, Noah Habib, 29, was detained after Jet Airways staff found 14 rounds of live ammunition and a magazine in her bags. Habib was heading to New Delhi.
Habib has been booked under the Aircraft Act and the Arms Act and will be produced in court on Friday.
In another incident, the CISF detained Meerut-based businessman Mohammed Salim, 43, for carrying eight rounds of 7 point 65 pistol ammunition in his luggage. He was on his way to Delhi.
