Jet Airways has been voted "India's leading airline" at the 13th Annual World Travel Awards 2006. The award was presented at a glittering ceremony at the Turks & Caicos Islands, south east of Miami in the United States of America last night.
Jet Airways was voted "India's leading airline" by travel professionals worldwide and the current year's voting campaign reached a total of 167,000 travel professionals worldwide, including 110,000 travel agents.
This is the second significant award won by Jet Airways within a week. On September 15, 2006, the Airline bagged three awards at the World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA)in Miami for its in-flight entertainment system.
