With last minute registrations from airlines, among them Indian Airlines, Kingfisher, Olympic Airlines, Royal Brunei, Aerovista, Syrian Air and Iraqi Airways, Routes welcomed over 300 airlines and some 650 airport delegates.
Asia and the Middle East was especially well represented, while Routes in Dubai also brought colourful participation from several tourist authorities. Over 40 low cost carriers were represented.
Over 100 media representatives, including broadcast media from the UAE, Malaysia, Croatia, the US and the UK, took total delegate numbers to over 2,000, a record for the world's leading airline/airport networking event.
Routes organisers also reported that a high number of exhibitors have already signed up for next year's event which will take place in Stockholm during 23-25 September, 2007.
